The bears are in total control of markets and starting to push harder. There appears to be no hibernation for the bears although we expect a bounce early in the week based on oversold conditions. This will be a selling opportunity.

When watching markets and the price action, it is important to avoid watching the news. Remember, the pundits are there to sell advertising, not trade. The news is bad for markets and the economy, CPI and PPI tell us inflation is going to continue.

This week the FED will make their decision on rates and could hike a full point. Remember, the FED does not care about us the traders and investors, they print money. They are far off the mandate that was set for them

Options are telling a bearish story as well as call buying leads the way followed but Put and Put spread buying, Call and Call spread selling with some premium sellers mixed in. The VIX continues to make higher lows and is showing strength.

The Bulls were buying NVDA, AAPL, TNA, GOOGL and UAL while the Bears were selling SPY, GLD, IWM, AMD, and SPX. This adds clarity to markets, sell the broad indexes while picking stocks.

As traders and investors, we have one thing to remember, follow the trend of the market. Be patient disciplined and leave your emotions out. The most important thing to remember is money management and self-control.
